American Primitive Scrubbed Pine Farm Table, 19th Century
AMERICAN PRIMITIVE SCRUBBED PINE FARM TABLE
In very old and likely original paint, late 19th century
Item # 803KBR22P
This gorgeous early scrubbed pine farm table was likely a product of the Mid-Atlantic States during the last quarter of the 19th century. It is built with three large and beautifully patinated planks of pine flanked by breadboard ends that tenon onto the planks on either side. The top is removable, original hand carved pins tapering into holes in the table apron through holes in the battens. The apron of the table is firmly joined with pegged tenon-mortising of the legs. An old and likely original painted surface remains intact on the legs and apron. A very carefully built and well preserved table, it is one of the best farm tables we’ve had an opportunity to carry in the shop.
Measurements: 81 1/4” W x 37 3/8” D x 29 7/8” H
