AMERICAN QUEEN ANNE STYLE TIGER MAPLE DINING TABLE
20th Century w/ two leaf extensions
Item # 604KZA25P
This beautiful bench made table provides a gorgeous contrast between two maples - the top is cut to reveal the “tigering" of the grain rays while the frame and leg are a simple painted maple. Under raking light or by running your hand across the surface of the top, the soft silky ripple of a hand planed surface is evident and most attractive. The frame is beautifully scroll cut in the New England manner, the vertical members tenon-mortised into the legs and affixed with large wooden pins. The legs are turned and terminate in flat padded feet. Two leaves allow it to be extended to a full 59 3/4” width, though it also collapses down to be essentially a game table or breakfast table without the leaves inserted. It remains in nearly perfect condition and is an absolutely gorgeous addition to any home decorated in the Colonial taste.
Measurements: 30 1/8” H x 59 3/4” W (with all leaves in) x 43 3/8” D
Exceptional condition with only the most minor use indicators (tiny abrasions, edge wear, scuffs).
