ENGLISH REGENCY TURNED MAHOGANY CHEVAL MIRROR

A large and striking cheval mirror from the Regency period, this attractive piece is such an interesting design element with original cast brass hardware and candle sconces and angular form. The turned mahogany frame holds the mahogany box housing the silvered looking glass, knobs on either side allowing the angle of the mirror to be adjusted using tension. It rests over swept legs in plain squared brass toes over castors.
Measurements: 73 1/8” H x 37 1/2” W x 24” D
Original glass, heavily oxidized and difficult to see into. Finials on either side of top absent. Original hardware throughout. Minor scuffs/abrasions to wood.
