Item # 611TYW03P
A delightful table designed with excellent overall proportions and perfect balance, the entire form is nicely restrained despite it’s exquisite materials. A beautiful breche d'alep stone top, circular with slight projections over the legs is framed in a chased brass rim over a scrolling apron. This features veneers matchbooked against each other and framed with satinwood and ebony stringer inlays between each leg, flanked by the bold and perfectly chiseled pierced gilt bronze mounts at each corner. The gentle cabriolet of each leg is accentuated by a raised outer edge, the tapering terminating in gilt bronze sabots with scrolled foliage.
Measurements: 28 “ W x 28” D (at corner projections) x 28 1/4” H
Original bronze mounts, several with verdigris oxidization and discoloration as expected. Some joint gaps between legs and frame, remaining stable and very sturdy. Light minor surface wear to early finish.
