JEFFREY GREENE MODERN ROSEWOOD DINING TABLE
Signed to the underside; with chip carved edge and faceted legs
Item # 801QWB27X
This is a positively exquisite cabinetmade dining table designed and executed in the shop of Jeffrey Greene, signed to the underside and a style he executed for a variety of table forms. The rosewood top is solid and positively exceptional, the chaotic and vibrant grain matched and joined in a way that shows off the wood most attractively beneath a high gloss burnished surface, the solid edge being chamfered beautifully down to the apron. A fine repeating triangle is chip-carved into the edge of the apron and follows the edge of each leg over a large inward facet that reduces the weight of the apron and shrinks the legs beautifully. The table length can be adjusted by adding or removing one or two of the leaves, the total width with both leaves inserted being 105”. It is an unreal work of art that is perfectly crafted and remains in very fine overall condition.
Measurements: 105” W (when opened with both leaves inserted) x 47 3/4” D x 30 1/4” H
Very minor scuffs to top, overall remaining in exquisite condition. Slight edge wear. Both leaves retain vinyl and felt covers.
