In manner and quality of Maison Jansen, unsigned; probably France circa 1940
Item # 712DAW14P

A piece of the highest quality throughout, this fine low table is designed in the Neoclassical taste using elements that at their time were on the cutting edge.  Utilizing cast steel, solid flat bar and reeded tubing, the atelier flawlessly melds a host of shapes and materials with a fluid airiness.  All of the brass elements are custom cast and of the highest quality - the acanthus capitals, all of the thin tapered toupie feet, the rim around the glass - everything is carefully thought out and executed with precision.

Measurements:  40 W x 18 D x 16 H

Condition Report:
Excellent original condition; glass top with some very light scuffs/scratches consistent with use.  Steel and brass with oxidization and discolorations from oxygen and rubbing, the result being a rather attractive surface patina throughout.
