PAIR OF HARRY BERTOIA FOR KNOLL STUDIO DIAMOND ARM CHAIRS
In original white enamel paint w/ original covering, c. 1960's; both retaining original Knoll Associates labels
Item # 611HRL13
A gorgeous pair of Bertoia Diamond arm chairs retaining their original covering and enamel paint surfaces, the pair remains in outstanding condition. Originally designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952, the pair retain the original labels from Knoll Associates, the original name of the firm from 1949 to 1969 when it formally changed into Knoll International. The woven tweed burgundy coverings are just gorgeous, perfectly executed with a single seam from arm to arm. For the collector of the iconic designs of the mid-century, they are a very fine acquisition indeed.
