PAIR OF MIES VAN DER ROHE FOR KNOLL LEATHER BRNO ARM CHAIRS
Stamped KP (for Knoll Production) underneath feet
Item # 712TPP01P

Typical of Knoll, the machining on this pair of chairs is exquisite with perfect welds and flawless finishing of the metal.  The iconic BRNO flat bar arm chair was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and the present pair were manufactured by Knoll in polished stainless steel.  Beneath the footing the chairs are cold stamped KP for Knoll Productions and one chair has a serial number under the arm.  Both are expertly upholstered in a caramel top-grain leather and are inordinately comfortable and supportive.  The only visible joinery on the chair are the tiny screws that affix the upholstered arm pads from beneath the arm, all other joinery hidden inside of the framing behind the upholstery.  We also have a set of six of these chairs from the same estate with a slightly different hue of leather being sold individually; check our shop inventory if you are looking for more than a pair.

Measurements:  23” W x 22” D x 31 3/4” H, 17” H to seat

Condition Report:
Leather appears to have been recolored at one point, the material with some wear, scuffing and impressions.  Steel is scuffed and with some tarnish.
