This very fine pair of 19th century Equestrian gilt plaques depict an opposing pair of horses with an early Romantic stylizing, both cast in bronze and gilded with a dusty matte gold against burnished highlights. Both are of the finest quality in casting with intricate detailing throughout. They are preserved in original frames over a velour backing and are protected under glass.
