This lovely modernist cabinet is a picture of simplicity and austerity.  Finished in a hard white lacquer and topped by a piece of clear glass, the credenza doors swing outward on full length hinges to reveal a series of eight drawers.  All are machine-dovetailed and slide easily in and out of the case.  The smooth action of the doors and the clean appearance provided by them is quite striking.  Generally a form that would be used in the living spaces, it is equally useful in the bedroom as a chest of drawers with a tidy front.

Condition Report:
Shrinkage cracks along leg joints, scuffs and wear to lacquer, some color variation to the lacquer; a slight height offset between the left door and right door.
