BENCHMADE MODERN CHERRY AND MAPLE DINING TABLE
Entirely handmade, circa 1980s; includes two leaves and felt table cover
Item # 012GST06A
This very finely made cherry and maple dining table is an entirely benchmade work of art. Not a production piece or produced in numbers, the table shows the love and attention of a small shop where the details are more important than the labor. It is austere with an emphasis on exquisite timbers. The cherry ends of the table are ingeniously designed to pull out with an incredibly smooth action to create a firm surface for an extra leaf to be inserted on either side, these with the same polished dowel ends as the table apron for a nearly seamless profile.
Incredibly compelling and interesting, this table is preserved in nearly new condition and comes with heavy felt table covers.
Measurements: 30 1/4" H x 50" D x 97" W (no leaves); 141 1/4" W (with both leaves inserted)
Minor scuffs to table top, overall remaining in very good original condition.
