PAIR OF STAINLESS STEEL AND BLACK FAUX-LEATHER ARM CHAIRS
Designed by Jan Lunde Knudsen for Sorlie Møbler, Norway, circa 1960s
Item # 001WOW25K
Retaining original labeling and markings on the underside, this very striking form was designed by Jan Lunde Knudsen in 1961 for manufacture by Sorlie Møbler of Norway. The four stainless steel legs raise in straight tubular rods before tapering into a pin on each leg that sprouts outward to raise the circular arms. Austere and sparse, these make a striking design statement in the modern interior.
