REGENCY MAHOGANY BRASS-MOUNTED LIBRARY LADDER
England, 19th century
Item # C103904
A fine solid mahogany molded metamorphic library ladder with brass fittings, this form is crafted with tiny dowels that act as a pivot point for the larger ladder slats to rotate and fold away into a small package. The tips on either side are brass mounted with a brass hook on the top that allows the ladder to be easily hung on the wall. A rotating hook in the middle allows the ladder to be carefully locked in place and tucked away.
