Set of Eight Bound Rattan Dining Chairs by McGuire
VINTAGE SET OF EIGHT RATTAN DINING ARM CHAIRS
By McGuire of San Francisco, circa late 20th century
Item # 807TEJ21O
This is a gorgeous set of eight rattan dining arm chairs retailed by McGuire in San Francisco during the last quarter of the 20th century. They are of inordinately good quality with each piece of rattan beautifully curved and bound at each joint. The backs are dramatic with rattan bent into two perfect circles divided with a criss-crossed splat across the back. All chairs retain their original plaque from McGuire on the underside. The cushions should be reupholstered at some point as they have some minor spots and staining, but overall remain full and comfortable. It is a very fine set for the eclectic interior, melding beautifully with any number of periods while remaining unusually comfortable and supportive.
Measurements: 23” W x 20 5/8” D x 36” H, 19 1/8” H to seat
Some light staining to a few cushions. Minor scuffs and blemish on surfaces of the chairs, overall remaining in very good sturdy condition.
