VINTAGE SET OF SIX DINING CHAIRS IN EBONY FINISH
Attributed to Vamdrup Stolefabrik, ca. 1960s
Item # 905GDA09M

This attractive set of mid-century modern solid teak dining chairs is so interesting and sleek in the nearly black ebony stained teak surface.  They retain an early and probably original tufted upholstery; while we would personally have it changed if they were going into our home, the fabric is actually still in overall fair condition and for the purist can certainly still be enjoyed.

The curvature of the molded seat and back first and foremost lend a great deal of comfort to the sitter, but also offer an airy and light "floating" profile with a gentle curve that opposes the seat rail and gaps around the stiles that give it a sense of transparency.  They are a very fun and relevant set for the vintage dining room.

Measurements: 33 3/4" H x 18 7/8" W x 21" D x 18 1/8" H to seat

Condition Report:
Fabric early and likely original, worn with minor spots of blemish on the seats, edges with some grime from handling; we recommend having them recovered, though they can certainly be used in their original upholstery. Sturdy and strong. Minor scuffs to legs.
