A remarkable pair of teakwood cabinets designed by Peter Hvidt for Illums Bolighus, they are precisely crafted and in nearly pristine condition. Each cabinet features two sliding doors with inset sculpted circular holds, opening to reveal a single adjustable shelf on one side and three dovetailed drawers on the other side. The cabinets rest over adjustable feet with their original dual-position bracket (stamped Gerber).
Beautiful matched cabinets for in the living room, but also perfectly suited as bedside nightstands.
Measurements: 23 3/4” H x 15 3/4” D x 33 5/8” W
Original surface gently refreshed. Minor veneer chips along a few edges and other incredibly minor surface wear. Fabric inside drawers is original with minor discoloration. One leg is slightly shorter and will need a pad to level it on a hard floor. Steel pins for one shelf are replaced.
