18K LEOPARD RING SET WITH 268 SAPPHIRES AND 157 DIAMONDS
An exquisite work of art | size 6.5
Item # 105OAY26L
An extraordinarily fine statement piece with a vivid figural sculpture of a leopard grasping a ball within its paws. The surface is set with approximately 427 individual gemstones, the blue sapphires creating the overall ground for the animal's coat while white diamonds highlight its spots. The globe is set with 90 yellow diamonds, two tiny cut emeralds for the eyes and the nostrils highlighted with black diamonds. It is a painstakingly well executed piece; it is a true statement that is much a work of sculptural art as it is a piece of investment-grade jewelry.
