A refined necklace with a fine high-polish to the angular links, the piece is set apart with its teardrop pendant with its translucent purple polished cabochon surrounded by eighteen round-cut diamonds over an inverted pear-cut ruby. This slides freely along the length of the necklace with a bent-wire backing. The necklace is firmly secured with the spring-tongue clasp and further secured with a wire clasp from the side.
