VINTAGE ITALIAN 14K YELLOW GOLD AND DIAMOND DOME RING

An incredibly striking vintage cocktail ring, it is a stylized floral design in a cascading dome form with the upper tiers of the ring a series of 6 prong-set round brilliant-cut diamonds surrounding a larger prong-set focal point diamond. Pedals of the opened flower fall back with a series of 3, 4 and 5 diamonds set within the white-gold fronds; these lay over a pierced body of twisted yellow gold. It is a striking ring of very fine craftsmanship.
