A rarely found model of Dubucand's Arab Hunter on Horseback, this is the smaller "cabinet bronze" size that features particularly well on desks and small tables. It is a delightful sand-cast example with a reddish-brown overall patina and features a seated Arab horseman looking out into the distance having spotted something important from his mount. His pair of greyhound hunting dogs are at ease, though one lifts its head having perhaps caught the scent of prey. The

Condition Report:
Missing tassels under horse's chin. Light patina wear to top of horse's tail, tips of both dog noses, along the inner edge of the horse's leg from the back, scattered wear along the edges of the base. Cleaned and sealed in conservator's grade wax.
