Item # 305USQ06P
In 1928 Wilhelm Kienzle designed the "Safari" chair, a visually stunning and iconic piece. The present example was manufactured in Germany in the 1950s/1960s and remains perfectly original and untouched. Crafted from solid oak and featuring a sling seat made of rawhide leather, the chair showcases a beautiful patina throughout, the product from years of handling, the natural oils from skin and being actively enjoyed. It displays exceptional craftsmanship and elegant lines - and the clever design allows it to entirely be broken down for easy flat-pack transport. But perhaps most importantly, it offers a surprising level of comfort and support and is truly a go-to chair for relaxing.
